Not all the caster operate the same way, especially mesemer and monks. While Necro got a few variation. Your build would be fine only against elementalist.

You can not live without anything that remove enchantment against a monk, unless you have someone else doing the enchant killing for you.

Most monks now day use boon prot, that means most of their spell cast are rather fast (RoF [revsersal of fortune] etc). So the chance of you catching them doing something after the lag effect are quite low. So without something that increase their cast time, your powerblock can often go into waste. But since most monk use CoP (contemplation of purity), divine boon, holy veil... those ITC (increase time cast) hex will be removed almost instantly even with cover hex on. One enchantment removal won't be enough either, unless it is rend enchantment.

And why oh why is Bonetti's Defence there? You've kinda just tossed in skills that look useful... drop healsig for ether feast if you really want a selfheal, put tactic points to smth else..

I'd trade Acarne conundrum for backfire, if this is a pvp build. And if you use either you need a cover hex.

Anybody considered using Mantra of Recovery to (ignoring energy) continually send off interupts. One day ill make that build.

But Guilt is a very very good skill!

Mantra of Recovery with 10 fast casting (15 seconds, quite decent time) is great with guilt (energy management) and interrupts / dom spells. So long as you have a decent source of energy (eTap isn't a bad idea) you can really cause havoc...

It's a great elite, if it was reduced to 10 energy cost it would be awesome.
